Arlington Heights police officers on the overnight shift were investigating two commercial burglaries in Arlington Heights early Saturday morning, October 19, 2024. Two liquor stores were hit by burglars.

CARDINAL NEWS UPDATE: Burglaries at *3* Liquor Stores in Arlington Heights Overnight
Red Rooster Liquors, 1628 West Northwest Highway was burglarized estimated at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday. The front glass door was smashed to gain entry into the liquor store.
Elm’s Liquor at 906 West Northwest Highway was burglarized at about 4:00 a.m. The front glass door and window next to the door were smashed.
Inventory was being checked for losses at both stores.
Both stores are located on the north side of Northwest Highway between Wilke Road and Euclid Avenue.
