Arlington Heights Resident Charged with Criminal Trespass, Disorderly Conduct at Downtown Train Station

Police, firefighters, paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2024 to a report of a disturbance involving a female adult in downtown Arlington Heights near the train station at 45 West Northwest Highway and store locations between Arlington Heights Road and Evergreen Avenue north of Sigwalt Street.




There was a report of the female adult in her 40s or 50s damaging property. She was further described as blond, wearing a gray tank top and blue shorts.

Police arrived near the Metra train station and found the female adult, and requested Arlington Heights Fire Department paramedics respond for a psychiatric well-being assessment.

Karen A. Kline, of the block of 300 Knob Hill in Arlington Heights was accused for criminal trespass and charged with Criminal Trespass to State Supported Land (720 5/21-5).

Kline was also accused of disorderly conduct, including actions that alarm or disturb another, provoking breach of peace, and was charged with Disorderly Conduct [720 5/26-1(a)(1)].

Karen Kline was also accused of reporting a false alarm or complaint via a 911 call. Kline was charged with making a False Alarm/Complaint to 911 [720 5/26-1(a)(6)]

Karen Kline was cited and released, and has a court date scheduled on August 8, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 108 of the Cook County Circuit Court Rolling Meadows.

CRIMINAL HISTORY
Karen Kline has a history of making false 911 calls in Arlington Heights in May 2021.

Karen Kline also has a history of driving through the municipal parking garage at the Arlington Heights Village Hall and Arlington Heights Police Station while broadcasting anti-police messages on a loudspeaker. The incidents occurred multiple times at a variety of hours.
