Police, firefighters and paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2024 to a report of a crash with injuries at Arlington Heights Road and Euclid Avenue in Arlington Heights.

Initially there was a report of an infant or toddler that needed to be assessed by paramedics. Also, a female adult was assessed by paramedics at the scene.

Police, firefighters, and paramedics arrived to find to cars with moderate to heavy damage and a traffic signal down at the northeast corner of the intersection.




At least one of the crash victims was transported to Northwest Community Hospital — likely the female adult.

Hillside recovered the two crashed vehicles and towed them to the yard.

Meade Electric arrived in a short time period to complete a temporary repair of the downed traffic signal.
