Arlington Heights remains under a Winter Weather Advisory, but is very close to Lake County – Buffalo Grove, which is under a Winter Storm Warning.
The Winter Weather Advisory for Arlington Heights and O’Hare International Airport is ironic because the snowfall forecast for Arlington Heights (8.0 inches) is higher than Deerfield, Illinois in Lake County (5.4 inches). Northern Arlington Heights borders Lake County at Lake Cook Road where there is a Winter Storm Warning.
The Arlington Heights forecast for total snowfall has increased in the last 24 hours from 2.0 inches to 8.0 inches. For practical purposes, northern Arlington Heights might as well be under a Winter Storm Warning.

The O’Hare forecast for total snowfall is 6.6 inches at Terminal 1 at the airport.
The Arlington Heights Road – I-90 interchange is indicating a total snowfall forecast of 7.9 inches.
The Lake Cook Road area near Buffalo Creek Forest Preserve is indicating a total snowfall forecast of 8.0 inches.
