Police, firefighters and paramedics from Buffalo Grove responded about 7:34 a.m. Thursday, January 4, 2023 to a report of a rollover crash involving a semi-trailer dump truck at Weiland Road and Aptakisic Road in Buffalo Grove.
Buffalo Grove fire command Battalion Chief 4 reported a rollover semi-trailer truck with “everybody’s” out of the vehicle, and returned the extrication response — leaving an engine and ambulance assigned with the battalion chief.
Hillside Service Towing & Recover responded with at least two rotator crane trucks to upright the truck and trailer. Hihllside also removed the dumped load, which appeared to be concrete and clay debris from a demolition site or transfer.
Traffic was blocked in the area during vehicle recovery, but the intersection was cleared by about 9:50 a.m.
