Arlington Heights police responded about 6:54 PM Friday, March 31, 2023 to a shots fired call in near the Pointe Apartment residential complex at 1537 Woods Drive Arlington Heights. Police received a report that a complainant heard multiple gunshots, and then saw drivers of a blue Dodge Charger and a gray
Jeep fleeing the scene southeast on Rand Road. A second complainant reported the driver of a blue Dodge Charger was the shooter.
Officers located several shell casings in the area. A resident in the neighborhood provided a tip to CARDINAL NEWS that a few non-involved vehicles parked in the neighborhood may have been struck.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 6:53 PM. The Arlington Heights Police Department released the incident information on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.
