Arlington Heights police received a report about 8:01 AM Friday burglary/theft from a residential garage under construction in the block of 500 North Evergreen Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders entered the OPEN/UNSECURED garage under construction and removed the following tools which were UNSECURED: DeWalt 12″ mitre saw ($599), DeWalt 10″ mitre saw ($199), DeWalt 2hp air compressor ($439), Bosch table saw ($599), Senco staple gun ($160), Senco nail gun ($180), Senco brad nail gun ($139), Griprite siding nail gun ($299), 10″ saw blade ($80), Paslode framing nail gun ($249), 100′ rubber air hose ($100), (3) electrical cords ($100), Makita cement shears ($240), Milwaukee screw gun ($149) and an unknown DeWalt tool ($139). The total value of the items is $3,860. The items owned by construction workers were VISIBLE from the street before they were stolen.
The crime is reported to have occurred between Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. and Friday, April 19, 2013 at 8:00 a.m.
