Margaret Thatcher’s spokesman Lord Bell revealed the news that the former politician had passed away peacefully after a long battle with poor health.
Britain’s first and only woman prime minister won three consecutive general elections, and served her office from February 1975 until May 1979. She suffered a series of minor strokes more than a decade ago.
