Just a quick note that CARDINAL NEWS on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 removed the Facebook Like Button from the top of each article because it was not working reliably.
In some cases a pop-up window would open and close when the Like Button was touched or clicked, but the Like Button count would not adjust upward as expected.
Regarding troubleshooting, the usual suspects were investigated, such as browser cache refresh, and making sure Facebook code for the Like Button was updated properly. The issue was occurring on MacOS Safari, iOS Safari, and Google Chrome for Mac.
The sharing buttons for social media remain working.
