Arlington Heights police received a report about 11:37 AM Thursday of vehicle burglary/criminal damage to property in progress at Central Road and Arthur Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that a man was breaking car windows and possibly burglarizing the vehicles. The offender was described as wearing a black jacket and black pants. He was also reported to be bleeding from the hand.
Police were in contact with a male/white subject matching the description, just east of Arthur Avenue on Central Road by about 11:39 a.m.
Police found at least one vehicle damaged and were searching for any other vehicles that may have been damaged. Police on scene reported that a large rock was thrown through a vehicle window.
One male subject transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters.
