Lindsey Stirling is an expert at pairing skills. She has merged her skills on the violin with electronic music, and takes her musical skills to the next level — merging her musical performance with dance. On Tuesday, August 10, 2021 Chicagoans will be treated to her live performance at Chicago’s Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island with her “Artemis Tour.” Artemis is the Greek goddess of the hunt, the wilderness, wild animals, the Moon, and chastity. Artemis is the daughter of Zeus and Leto, and the twin sister of Apollo.

“Artemis” a multilayered story aligned with a comic book Lindsey Stirling wrote about Artemis, the goddess of the moon, and a world that’s losing its light. Stirling and her team finished the six-book series just before starting the “Artemis” tour on July 3, 2021 in Kansas City. She’s been playing violin since she was 6 years-old. She grew up in Arizona.
Lindsey Stirling taught herself to dance, and is going strong at age 34. In the span of those years she’s performed world tours, appeared on “America’s Got Talent” and “Dancing with the Stars” and has produced collaborations with artists such as Amy Lee (of Evanescence), Owl City and Pentatonix.

Her latest album “Artemis” was released in fall of 2019, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the “Artemis” world tour was postponed for a year.
In the “Artemis” tour there is music, dancing and even a battle. To get an idea of what live music battle might be like, watch an old west version on Roundtable Rival that was posted on YouTube on October 20, 2014 with a sort of battle of musical artists armed with sound waves and her violin known as a violumpet.
