Police, firefighters and paramedics from Des Plaines responded about 1:17 a.m. Sunday, April 25, 2021 to a report of a vehicle crash into a house with injuries in the block of 1200 East Algonquin Road in Des Plaines.
Des Plaines Battalion 61 on arrival reported one car into a house. The extra crews for extrication were returned by 1:24 p.m. Both patients in the crashed vehicle were helped out of the vehicle by 1:29 a.m. No extra ambulances were dispatched to the scene.
A witness at the scene reported the vehicle had moderated damage. A building inspector from the City of Des Plaines was called out to inspect the house for structural damage.
The extent of injuries was initially not avaialable.
