Police and firefighter/paramedics from Lake Forest responded about 10:47 a.m. Thursday, November 12, 2020 to a report of a pedestrian hit by a white pickup truck in the block of 500 North Mayflower Road in Lake Forest.
One person was down on the ground after they were hit by a white Ford F-150. A black side mirror was left behind at the scene after impact with the pedestrian.
At 2:36 p.m. Thursday afternoon, the Lake Forest Police Department announced that the pedestrian — a 60 year-old male — died after he was hit by the white Ford F-150. The driver of the truck fled southbound on Mayflower Road. The Lake Forest Police Department is seeking help locating the the offending driver and the driver’s truck.
