Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:49 AM Sunday to a report of a dryer fire in the 500 block of West Noyes Street. Firefighers on the scene smelled smoke inside the house, but initially found no problem. Upon further investigation firefighters found a problem with the washer/dryer at the home. Apparently no active fire when firefighters arrived.
