Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a 20-year-old female suspect, Lilandra L. Redman, of Pennsylvania, has been accused of luring a Woodstock teenager into her car following years of long-distance online communication. Lilandra L. Redman and a 15-year-old male teen had communicated over the Internet since they met in an online chat room a few years ago, according to the Woodstock Police Department.
Lilandra L. Redman, of the block of 600 Reno Street, Rochester in Beaver County Pennsylvania, is accused of luring the male teen into her vehicle on Sunday, August 2, 2020 on the same day the teenager’s parents reported him missing. The teen’s parents told police that on Sunday morning they found a note in his handwriting stating that he’d gone to New York with a woman named Jessica. On August 3, investigators found the male teen safe in Pennsylvania and he was reunited with his family.
Initially, no additional details about the case were released by police, citing an ongoing investigation.
Lilandra L. Redman is charged with child abduction – a felony punishable by one to three years in prison. The warrant for Redman’s arrest lists a $20,000 bond.
