Police and firefighter/paramedics from Schaumburg responded about 3:50 p.m. Friday August 7, 2020 to a report of a serious crash with multiple injuries. Initially three Schaumburg ambulances were dispatched to the scene.
Two additional ambulances were requested by 3:57 p.m. — a Hoffman Estates and Streamwood ambulance were assigned.
Schaumburg police shut down westbound Schaumburg Road at Roselle Road.
Patient count for the multiple injury crash was described as 1 patient Code Red, 4 patients Code Yellow, and one patient Code Green. Patients were transported to St. Alexius, Alexian Brothers Medical Center and Northwest Community Hospital.
