The suspect fled the home and was located by police officers a short distance from the address.
Peter W. Purduski, 18, of the block of 800 Webster Street in Naperville, was arrested and charged with one count of Home Invasion, a class X Felony.

“The Naperville Police wish to remind the public and the news media that a charge is merely an accusation, and a defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. The Naperville Police Department would like to remind residents of the importance of securing their homes and vehicles.”
— Naperville Police Department
Purduski was transported to the DuPage County Jail to await a bond hearing. On Monday, June 29, 2020 his bail was set at $150,000 with 10% to apply.
