Police from Mount Prospect responded about 2:50 p.m. Monday June 8, 2020 to a report of forgery at Menard’s, 740 East Rand Road in Mount Prospect.
A male/black offender is accused of kicking and pushing a police officer at the Menard’s store after using counterfeit money. The suspect that is accused of kicking and pushing the police officer while leaving the store was wearing a gray T-shirt with the words “Feelin’ Groovy Austin, Texas” across the front of the shirt. One suspect was in custody.
Suspects fled in a gray/green older Pontiac Grand Prix with tinted windows. Two male/blacks and a female/black offender were involved in the crime.
