The Chicago Air and Water Show was suspended just before noon Saturday August 17 2019 as a line of thunderstorms approached the lakefront from southwest to northeast. Organizers and weather officials expected some fairly heavy storms to affect the area from about noon to 12:30 p.m. The air show was expected to resume sometime after 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
