Arlington Heights police received a report about 6:41 PM Monday June 3, 2019 of a theft at Jewel-Osco, 1860 South Arlington Heights Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders concealed store merchandise in a shopping cart underneath his jacket, and left the business without paying for the merchandise.
The suspect is described as a male/white approximately 50-60 years old, about 5’4” 150 LBS with a gray beard, wearing a multicolor striped jacket, a long sleeved multicolor striped shirt, and tan pants.
The male was last seen leaving the area in a tan Honda Pilot with an unknown Illinois license plate. The total retail value of the stolen merchandise is under investigation at this time.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Monday, June 3, 2019 at 6:40 PM.
