Glen Ellyn police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:40 AM Monday April 1, 2019 to a report of a person that jumped in front of a train near 41.881625, -88.045622 (Cumnor Ave and Up West Line Glen Ellyn, Il). According to Metra, inbound and outbound train movement has been halted near Elmhurst due to a freight train striking a pedestrian. The duration of this delay is unknown but extensive delays are anticipated. Metra recommends listening to platform announcements for current delay information.
Inbound Metra Train #44, scheduled to arrive at Ogilvie Transportation Center at 11:43 AM, will stop at Wheaton.
