For Adam Thomas, the driver whose car was damaged by falling concrete from an overpass this month, the impact was tremendous.
Several large pieces of concrete fell from an overpass where construction had just ended. The concrete fell through the rear window when it fell from the Oak Park Avenue Overpass over the Eisenhower Expressway near Oak Park, Illinois.
The overpass bridge was built in 1958.
