Palatine police received a report about 11:31 AM Saturday of raw sewage flow at an apartment complex at 1925 North Green Lane North. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report received a report that about 100 gallons of raw sewage is flowing at the 1925 building with about one-half inch of standing water. The flow was reported to be coming from a crawl space.
Sewage has been in the news this week. Arlington Heights firefighters were investigating a sewer odor in an apartment complex on West Rand Road in Arlington Heights. They were called at least two times to the scene.
