Aurora police responded about 11:49 PM Thursday September 27, 2018 to a report of an unlawful use of weapon Lincoln Avenue and Benton Street Aurora, IL. Police encountered an offender in a black Jeep Compass with a male/black driver.
An offender in the vehicle fire shots at an Aurora police officer.
The black Jeep Compass was last seen southbound on Lincoln Avenue from Benton Street.
The driver is wanted for investigation of Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
