The DEA, the Kane County Heroin Initiative Task Force, and the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office, responded with a search warrant to a warehouse in the block of 9100 Trinity Drive in Lake in the Hills and seized an estimated $512,000 worth of cocaine.
Suspects connected to the case of the seized drugs are two Carpentersville men — Ivan A. Moreno-Gollegos, age 18, and Juan C. Sanchez-Cacho, age 40. The two men, who both live in the block of 2300 Arrow Street in Carpentersville were arrested and are in custody.
The 16 kg-cocaine seizure and the arrest occurred at the beginning of a planned month-long investigation under the direction of the Kane County Heroin Initiative Task Force, which included members of the DEA Chicago Office, Kane County Sheriff’s Office, McHenry County Sheriff’s Office, and McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office.
