Round Lake Park police responded about 7:00 p.m. Sunday September 9, 2018 to a report that a victim had been held in a garage and was robbed by two people in the block of 300 Elder Drive near Fairlawn Drive. Police received a report that the offenders took a cellphone and jewelry.
One suspect was quickly taken into custody Sunday by police, but the second suspect wasn’t captured until Monday.
The first juvenile is facing charges of armed robbery, aggravated armed robbery and robbery.
The second juvenile is facing charges of armed robbery, aggravated armed robbery, robbery, and battery.
Both juveniles in custody have been held at the Depke Juvenile Detention Center near Vernon Hills. Initially, court dates were not available.
