Hoffman Estates police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 5:24 AM Thursday September 6, 2018 to a report of a crash with the wall on Westbound Interstate 90 and Mile Marker 60.25 Hoffman Estates, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a crash occurred when a compact vehicle hit the wall, almost crossed over the center wall, bounced back over four lanes and slid into a ditch. Three people ran from the car after the crash.
Illinois State Police were attempting to catch the three suspects that fled on foot.
The suspects were last seen running from the scene near the Chicago Marriott Northwest, 4800 Hoffman Boulevard and then near the fence line of the Prairie Pointe Medical Building, 4885 Hoffman Boulevard. Hoffman Estates police and Illinois State Police were on the scene searching for the suspects.
An initial investigation by police determined that the car that crashed was a car that was previously reported stolen.

Suspect #1: Male/white heavy set, wearing a tank top
Suspect #2: Male/black wearing mesh shorts
Suspect #3: Male/black in 20s wearing a black hoodie.
The three suspects were last seen on foot southbound near Route 59 and I-90.
