Rolling Meadows police responded about 10:39 PM Sunday of a hit-and-run crash at Golf Road and New Wilke Road. Police received a report that a black SUV hit a blue Toyota Camry and went off the roadway and hit a Pace Bus Stop. The black SUV destroyed the Pace Bus Stop at the westbound lanes of Golf Road near New Wilke Road.
The offending vehicle was described as a full-size black Ford SUV with front-end damage, heavy damage to the passenger side, and possible glass windows broken on the vehicle.
No injuries were reported, but paramedics were called to the scene for a secondary medical problem.
