Wrigleyville is the nickname for the neighborhood near Wrigley Field and home of the Chicago Cubs. Also known as Lakeview East, Wrigleyville is the namesake of Wrigley Field and features of bars, dining establishments and fan attire and souvenir stores for the Chicago Cub. Wrigleyville is not one of the 77 community areas of Chicago, but is a well-known neighborhood within the community area known as Lake View.
The focal point or “downtown” of Wrigleyville is Addison Street and Clark Street.

Some define the west border as Racine Avenue, cutting the neighborhood in half from east to west.
Wrigleyville features low-rise brick buildings and 3-flat apartment houses, some with rooftop bleachers known as Wrigley Rooftops where people purchase seats to watch baseball games or concerts from outside the confines Wrigley Field. The tickets are generally more expensive than tickets for seats within Wrigley Field. The rooftop venues feature all you can eat and drink service. Proprietors are able to do so under special agreements with the Cubs organization.
Many Wrigleyville bars and restaurants (particularly on North Clark Street) feature sports-oriented themes. Bars such as The Cubby Bear (kiddie corner to home plate at Addison and Clark), Casey Moran’s, Murphy’s Bleachers, Sluggers, and Sports Corner are lined up near the Wrigley Field intersection of North Clark Street and West Addison Street.

The CTA Red Line Addison station is a Chicago “L” station located in Wrigleyville at 940 West Addison Street with city block coordinates at 3600 North at 940 West. The elevated Addison station is a short 1-2-block walk just east of the Chicago Cubs’ Wrigley Field.
