Arlington Heights police responded to a report about 1:41 p.m. Friday to check for the well-being of an elderly female. Police received a report that an elderly woman with a cane was approaching vehicles and asking for food. The woman was described as wearing a blue blouse and skirt, just south of Arlington Heights Fire Station 3. No word on police contact with the woman.
