Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:17 p.m. Saturday to a report of a battery at a first floor apartment in the 1200 block of East Northwest Highway. Police received a report that a second floor neighbor came downstairs and beat up the callers boyfriend.
Police transported one subject in custody to Arlington Heights Department Headquarters.
Arlington Heights police are investigating.
