WARNING FOR STRONG WINDS…LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY…AND
ABNORMALLY DRY CONDITIONS…WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM THIS
AFTERNOON TO 8 PM CDT THIS EVENING.
* AFFECTED AREA…PORTIONS OF NORTHERN ILLINOIS AS WELL AS LAKE
COUNTY INDIANA.
* 20FT WINDS…WEST 15 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.
* TIMING…THE STRONGEST WINDS AND LOWEST RELATIVE HUMIDITY
VALUES ARE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…AS LOW AS 20 TO 25 PERCENT.

A RED FLAG WARNING MEANS THAT CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS
ARE EITHER OCCURRING NOW…OR WILL SHORTLY. A COMBINATION OF
