Schaumburg police are investigating a missing person case after Michael J. Coleman was reported missing since Tuesday morning. Michael Coleman apparently left his Schaumburg residence for a business meeting scheduled in Schererville in northwest Indiana. He also sent a work e-mail early Tuesday morning, but as of late Tuesday friends and family have not heard from him.
Coleman has no known medical issues, and is described as a male/white, 6’3″ 190 LBS with brown hair and brown eyes.
His I-PASS logged him heading toward northwest Indiana, but also logged some ‘unexplained’ locations.
Police tried to locate his cell phone with the assistance of his cell phone provider, but apparently the phone was turned off and on again.
Coleman was driving a gray 2005 Mazda 4-door with license registration BHWK7.
If the vehicle is spotted, police urge citizens to immediately call 9-1-1. The vehicle — based on I-PASS information — was last located in the south suburbs of Chicago and northwest Indiana.
Police also urge any citizens with information to call Schaumburg Police Department at 847-882-3534.
