Schaumburg police responded about 2:37 p.m. Friday to a report of a battery at Nordstrom at Woodfield. Police received a report that a woman hit a manager at the store after the manager refused to accept returned merchandise. The offender was described as a female/Hispanic in her 20’s wearing a black shirt and gray sweatpants. The offender was detained by loss prevention personnel awaiting police arrival.
