Mount Prospect police responded about 6:59 p.m. Friday to a report of a residential burglary and a stolen auto in the 900 block of Golfview Place. Police received a report that a residence was burglarized and that a the resident’s vehicle was stolen. Police also received a report that another vehicle was left in the place of the stolen vehicle.
Police investigated the vehicle that was left at the premise.
