VIDEO: Fire scene at 3760 West 38th Street Wednesday morning.

Chicago firefighters responded about 9:00 a.m. Wednesday to a warehouse fire. In about 30 minutes the structure fire was raised to a 3-11 alarm fire. A HazMat alarm was also requested for firefighters for a report of possible propane tanks inside the warehouse building. The tanks contained helium, which is not flammable.

Firefighters used a power saw to cut a fence to access one side of the building. Several hose lines and water from lader tower trucks were used to extinguished the fire.

A firefighter injured his shoulder. A minor burn to a civilian was also reported at the scene.
