Elk Grove Village police responded about 9:53 a.m. Monday to a report of a residential burglary in the 600 block of New Mexico Trail. Police received a report that a resident came home to find numerous items missing from his home.
The crime is reported to have occurred between 6:30 a.m. and 9:50 am. Monday morning. The resident noticed a suspicious black pickup truck parked near his residence about 9:30 am.
