At 4:45 a.m. Friday radar shows light narrow bands of snow precipitation moving toward the east away from the area. The radar’s precipitation image is also diminishing. Infrared satellite at 4:40 a.m. Friday shows the trailing edge of clouds in northwest Illinois. Sunny skies are forecast for today.
