Buffalo Grove police received a report Monday of a residential burglary in the 1400 block of Johnson Drive. Police received a report that a resident came home and found a suitcase that had been taken from a closet. Some clothes were also strewn on the floor. The resident stated that nothing was missing and nothing else was disturbed. Damage and pry marks were discovered at the lock of the entry door.
The crime is reported to have occurred between 8:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Monday, December 5, 2011.
