Arlington Heights police responded about 1:44 a.m. Sunday to a report of a strong arm robbery outside near the Brittany Place Condo/Apartments, 702 East Algonquin Road. Police received a report that two subjects threw a female to the ground and grabbed a purse, then ran eastbound from the scene. The offenders were described only as two male/Hispanic subjects in their 20’s, wearing dark hoodies. The offenders got away with a purse and an Apple iPhone.
Police searched the area with K-9 unit and picked up a track east and then south on Cedar Glen across Algonquin Road. Mount Prospect police also searched the area.
No word on police contact with the offenders.
