Schaumburg police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:50 a.m. Saturday to a car fire on westbound Golf Road, west of Meacham Road. Rescuers received a report of a car fire in the roadway near the Hyundai auto dealership. Police reported a Mini Cooper on fire. Fire was out upon arrival of rescuers after employees of the Hyundai dealership knocked the fire with a fire extinguisher.
