Palatine police responded about 4:58 a.m. Thursday to a report of woman thrown to the ground by an unknown offender on East Evergreen Drive near Clover Ridge Apartments. The offender was described as a male/white in his 20’s, medium height, wearing a gray hoodie and jeans. The offender fled northbound near the area between the Evergreen Apartments and the Clover Ridge Apartments.
