Schaumburg police responded about 1:07 p.m. Saturday of an attempted Gypsy scam in the 1300 block of Forestdale Court. Police received a report that a subject came to the door and said there was a problem with the water, and that workers had to check inside the house. The potential victims asked the subject to leave, and the subject left. Police checked the area.
