A Miami police officer is accused of driving 120 mph on a turnpike because he was late for his off-duty job working security at a school.
Video released by Florida Highway Patrol shows Trooper D.J. Watts drawing her gun on a traffic stop of Fausto López, after he stopped his patrol car on the side of the Florida Turnpike in Broward County near Hollywood Boulevard. Once López got out of his car, Watts handcuffed him while firmly and sternly questioning him. Trooper Watts took him to her FHP squad car, and charged López with reckless driving.
