Rolling Meadows police responded about 5:17 p.m. Thursday to a report of a theft of gas at the Mobil gas station at 2101 Hicks Road, Rolling Meadows. Police received a report that the driver of a red Chevy 4-door fled without paying for $50 worth of gas. The vehicle was last seen traveling southbound on Hicks Road.
