Palatine police responded about 11:50 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a hit-and-run crash at Rand Road and Baldwin Road. Police received a report that the driver of a silver Pontiac Grand fled the scene after a crash. No injuries were reported. Police received a good vehicle description and were working to locate the vehicle.
Palatine police found the suspected offending vehicle and suspect by 12:20 a.m. Thursday. The suspect was transported in custody to Palatine Police Department Headquarters.
