Palatine police responded about 11:39 a.m. Friday to a report of retail theft at True Value Hardware, 790 West Euclid Avenue. A suspect observed in retail theft was described as a male/Hispanic, and was reported to be fighting with employees, who were also attempting to detain the suspect.
Police transported one person in custody to Palatine Police Department Headquarters.
