Palatine police responded about 4:08 p.m. to a report of a theft that just occurred in the 900 block of West Panaroma Drive in Palatine. Police received a report that a man was stealing items from a shed on the property. The offender was described as a male/Hispanic, heavyset, wearing a white T-shirt and shorts. The offender was last seen heading toward the Quentin Road entrance in a red pickup truck.
