Arlington Heights police received a report of a vehicle burglary in the 2100 block of South Goebbert Road in an apartment parking lot near Tanglewood Apartments. Police received a report that a man reached into a partially open window of a gray 2007 Volvo XC90 and removed a purse. The purse contained cash, ID, and personal items.
The crime is reported to have occurred at 3:52 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2011.
The offender was described as male/Hispanic, 17- to 18-years-old, 5’9″ with a very skinny build, wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. He was last seen walking northbound on Goebbert Road toward Golf Road. No word on police contact with the offender.
