Eddie Money playing the harmonica and performing “No Control” at Schaumburgfest, Saturday, September 3, 2011.
Money became a police officer in the late 1960s. He eventually ended his law enforcement career in favor of becoming a full time musician, and moved to Berkeley, California.
In the 1970s, Eddie Money charted with singles such as “Baby Hold On” and “Two Tickets to Paradise”. Money continued his successes and took advantage of the MTV music video scene in the early 1980s with his humorous narrative videos for “Shakin'” and “Think I’m in Love”.
Eddie Money has also been a favorite at Frontier Days in Arlington Heights at Recreation Park.
Past performers at Schaumburgfest have included Pat Benatar, Gin Blossoms, Mary Wilson of the Supremes, KC and the Sunshine Band, Three Dog Night and the Little River Band.
Not too good imo.
